Capcom Beat ’Em Up Bundle, which features seven classics in one package, is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, for MSRP $19.99 – Steam at a later date! Gather your friends ‘cause this bundle will bring the arcade experience straight to you!
All seven classic games support couch co-op where you can play with your friends locally, and online to play with people around the world. Feel free to drop in and out of existing games both online and offline just like old times. You can even transport yourself to Japanese arcades and play the Japanese versions of these games.
Two of the games, Armored Warriors and Battle Circuit, have previously only been available in arcades, but now make their debut on consoles! Visit the Gallery for concept art, sketches, and historical documents that highlight all of the colorful casts. Finally, you can customize your experience in each game with the ability to change difficulty, number of lives, and more!
Final Fight (1989) – Those who are familiar with the Street Fighter series may recognize a few characters from this title. Cody, Abigail, Guy, Sodom, Rolento, and versions of Poison and Hugo all originated from Final Fight before they made their appearances in their respective Street Fighter games. Up to two players can go on a mission to save Haggar’s daughter Jessica from the Mad Gear Gang by choosing one of three playable characters: Haggar, Cody, or Guy.
Captain Commando (1991) – Starring Capcom’s original mascot Captain Commando, this science fiction beat ‘em up allows up to four players to choose between Captain Commando, Mack the Knife, Ginzu the Ninja, and Baby Head. This Commando Team is tasked with ridding crime from the entire galaxy, but unbeknownst to them, many of the criminals have extraordinary powers.
The King of Dragons (1991) – Set in a medieval world with orcs, harpies, minotaurs and wyverns, The King of Dragons allows up to three players to choose between five characters that are reminiscent of standard tabletop games: Fighter, Dwarf, Elf, Cleric, and Wizard.
Knights of the Round (1991) – Based off of the legend of King Arthur, this game allows up to three players to choose between King Arthur himself, Lancelot, and Perceval. Learning how to effectively block is vital for getting through the seven stages. Just like medieval times, you can even ride horses, which will help you stomp down enemies!
Warriors of Fate (1992) – In the Japanese version, Warriors of Fate is based off of the Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. In the English version, an original story with Mongolian origins was created. Up to three players can choose between five great warriors to take down the evil overlord across nine stages.
Armored Warriors (1994) – Up to three players can take control of specialized variant armor that can be customized with a large array of parts. With seven stages in total, this mech-themed beat-em-up features “Team-up Change” that allows two variant armor to fuse into one.
Battle Circuit (1997) – Making its debut on consoles, this funky beat ‘em up follows a group of colorful bounty hunters. Players can choose between Cyber Blue, Captain Silver, Yellow Iris, Pink Ostrich, and Alien Green in co-op that supports up to four players!
All seven of these games are included in Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle, available NOW digitally for MSRP $19.99 or £15.99 / €19.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch!
If you’re eager to get your hands on Mega Man 11, you won’t have to wait much longer; a downloadable demo is available starting today, September 6th, for Nintendo Switch! The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One demos will also be available starting tomorrow, September 7th. Explore Block Man’s stage with Rush by your side, and check out three different difficulties that are sure to appeal to everyone from 8-bit veterans to brand new players. Read on for more info about the Mega Man 11 Demo, including a special challenge for all demo players. Plus, catch up on the newest Robot Master for Mega Man 11: Bounce Man!
Alongside the demo itself, we have a special task for everyone who plays the demo: The Bust Block Man Challenge!
We’re giving all demo players a mission to knock out Block Man by defeating the ego-centric robot in the demo, then display their victory with the #BustBlockMan hashtag on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook! Each successful victory will help chip away at a statue of Block Man (and the ego he’s built up for himself). The more people play and succeed, the more the statue will chip away! If enough people defeat Block Man, everyone who’s played the Mega Man 11 demo will get a small reward of single-use items they can redeem in the full game!
Grab the demo from the links below, or navigate to the game’s store page from your favorite console:
Once you’ve started your download, come back to read up on Bounce Man, the latest Robot Master revealed for Mega Man 11 .
With a spring in his step and a cheerful outlook, Bounce Man makes for one unlikely Robot Master in Mega Man 11. Compared to the angular Impact Man who’s driven to a point, the concerns of modern robot life simply bounce off of this smooth, round Robot Master. Don’t let appearances fool you, though; Bounce Man’s stage might just stretch you to your limits!
Originally an exercise instructor, Bounce Man’s brightly-colored body and friendly appearance have made him a smash hit with children and adults alike. Despite taking over an indoor wonderland as his own personal playground, Bounce Man still views everything as a playful game, bouncing off the walls with joy the moment Mega Man enters his chamber. Before you reach this rubbery robot, you’ll have to hop to it and navigate your way through the vibrant Boing-Boing Park.
True to its name, Boing-Boing Park is dedicated to safety first. You’ll rarely need to worry about falling into pits thanks to the noble efforts of Tosanizer V, a robot designed to keep people from jumping across gaps. Spikes are nowhere to be seen either, save for small, spiky robots called Gabyoalls patrolling along the ground that are installed for security. All that safety comes at a cost, though; bounding all over the place can make it difficult to get to where you want to go! True to its name, Boing-Boing Park will have you springing off the walls, the floor, and maybe the ceiling on occasion thanks to large parts of the stage being covered in brightly colored rubber balls that keep you on and off your toes at all times.
To further complicate things, bright, spherical robots Boyorn and Poyorn will tumble around, protected by a thick rubber armor that allows them to take significant damage while happily bouncing about. You might be tempted to blast them on sight, but their high resistance to damage and tendency to rebound off of everything makes it safer to leave them alone if you can help it. However you decide to tackle this stage, you’ll want to keep an eye out for solid ground to take a breather every now and then.
You’ll encounter all sorts of unusual platforming perils along the way, such as hands that recoil for a few seconds when you shoot them, only to swing around in a mighty slap when their timer runs out. They won’t cause any damage to Mega Man and are useful for crossing larger gaps that you may not be able to reach otherwise. Careful as you’re bouncing around, though; Bunby Balloons, robots designed to search for lost children, often seem to float right into your jumps. Their balloons are armored, making them difficult to pierce with regular attacks… and raising a lot of questions about how these robots stay afloat to begin with.
As you spring ever upwards through this vertical stage, you’ll eventually encounter the massive, dangerous, terrifying… Frog Balloon? Despite being a mid-boss, this famous mascot of Boing-Boing Park is rather cute. Much like the rest of the stage, looks can be deceiving; Frog Balloon has a way of catching you off guard with his stretchy tongue, capturing Mega Man before crashing into him. Unleash everything you have to deflate him when he’s not hopping about, but keep your wits about you! The diligent Pump Master K is always around to patch things up if Frog Balloon pops. You’ll need to burst Pump Master K’s bubble if you want to take out Frog Balloon for good.
Once you’ve made the final climb to Bounce Man’s chamber, he’s all ready to show off his skills to a new playmate. As his name might suggest, Bounce Man likes to tumble around the room, rebounding off the walls before crashing into Mega Man. He still seems a bit unaware that he’s supposed to be a force for evil, but nevertheless uses the Speed Gear to bounce around at high speed as the fight goes on. Utilizing your own Speed Gear can make life a bit easier, and a solid shot from the Power Gear can turn the tide in your favor – though the extreme force might have unintended consequences on Bounce Man’s systems!
He may be tough as rubber, but if you can best him, you’ll grab a weapon befitting of this Robot Master: Bounce Ball. Firing three rubber balls in front of Mega Man that can be tilted up or down, each projectile will rebound off the walls and enemies for a bit before bursting in a spray of confetti. You can have several shots on screen at once, and unleash colorful chaos with the Power Gear to fire off an additional three bouncy balls behind you with every use.
That’s all for now, but we hope you enjoyed this cheerful look at Bounce Man and his stage. Don’t forget to grab the demo for Nintendo Switch (PS4 and Xbox One demos are coming tomorrow, September 7th) and bring Block Man down a peg, then share your victory with #BustBlockman on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook!
Be sure to check out the official site for all the latest information on Mega Man 11 and where to pre-order, and follow Mega Man on Twitter and Facebook for the latest news on the Blue Bomber!
It’s time for some heavy metal. Joining the four previously revealed Robot Masters for Mega Man 11, the large and in charge Impact Man has assembled an army of building ‘bots at an old construction site, and it’s up to Mega Man to tear down his ambitions. A dedicated robot who likes to see a job through to the end, Impact Man is focused solely on spiking Mega Man into the ground… permanently! Read on to learn more about this riveting boss robot and his unique special weapon.
As a heavy-duty construction robot, it makes sense that Impact Man was designed to withstand some of the toughest working conditions, and was previously tasked with constructing solid foundations for future building projects. Perhaps because of his single-minded nature, Impact Man has tunneled deep within the caves and caverns of a construction site, ensuring that only the most diligent of heroes can pierce through to his lair hiding within. With a stage design calling back to the construction-themed Robot Masters from the original Mega Man, you’ll need guts to survive this challenging stage filled with moving platforms, pitfalls, and deviously placed enemies that are all looking to bring the hammer down on the Blue Bomber.
Most of the robots around the construction site keep up with proper safety protocol, setting up electrified barriers and Missile Cones to deter gate crashers. Pickaxe-throwing robots called Pickmen are stationed as lookouts for trespassers while Metalls are littered about, wearing their everything-proof safety helmets at all times and unleashing projectiles on unsuspecting intruders. With all these robots dedicated to safety, it might just lull you into a false sense of security as you dive into the construction site. Good thing Mega Man has his own helmet! Fortunately, the caves are structurally sound, and you won’t have to worry about falling rocks… unless you take a wrong step. With pickaxes, missiles, and all kinds of projectiles flying around, you’ll need to take extreme care that Mega Man’s adventures don’t come to a premature end from falling into a pit. Fortunately, clever use of the Speed Gear can help you maneuver around projectiles or knock stray pickaxes out of the air with a well-placed shot from your Mega Buster.
Before going spelunking, it’s a good idea to grab a few items from Dr. Light’s Lab like Beat Calls and E Tanks. Each single-use Beat Call is a literal lifesaver if you fall into a deadly pit, automatically summoning Mega Man’s friendly bird ally, Beat, to swoop in and rescue the Blue Bomber from impending doom. Helpful as the little robot bird is, Beat can only fly for so long while carrying Mega Man. Be sure to find a safe place to land before Beat gets tuckered out and drops Mega Man like a… well, you know.
Despite being taken over by Impact Man, the construction site is still bustling with activity, and nothing will stop these ‘bots from getting the job done. You might have seen Pickman Digger in the very first trailer for Mega Man 11 – he’s quite dedicated to his job and an accomplished driver, but never quite figured out how to operate the backhoe. Trading his pickaxe for a stick shift, this miniboss will try to bring heavy machinery down on the Blue Bomber’s head, or swing wildly in a circle to sideswipe players who aren’t keeping a close eye on the background. Careful positioning can keep you on your feet as he slams his way around the arena, shaking loose boulders as he goes, but you’ll have to time your shots just right to hit the cockpit and deal damage.
As the fight goes on, a Missile Cone drops on to the cabin, joining the fray to unleash a barrage of projectiles at Mega Man. Never doubt the comradery of construction! The power of friendship is on full display here, but it might not be as fun when it’s used against you. Clever use of special weapons gained from other Robot Masters can help turn the fight in your favor, so be sure to give it everything you’ve got!
Pierce through to the boss room at the bottom of the site, and you’ll meet up with Impact Man himself. As a robot who likes to get right to the point, don’t be surprised if he tries to impale you at the very start of the fight. At first, this building ‘bot seems pretty straightforward, with simple attacks such as jumping into the air and slamming down, or dashing across the room before crashing into the wall. With a spike that goes through metal and an ensuing explosion that would make Blast Man proud, you’ll definitely want to keep your distance when you see him getting ready to dash. Don’t count him out too early, though; when he activates his Power Gear, he becomes an unstoppable force, attempting to pulverize you with his souped-up form.
Your reward for punching out Impact Man is a spike of your very own, the aptly named Pile Driver. It’s great for dashing horizontally at high speeds, temporarily sticking to anything solid you impact before shoving off with an explosion and doing severe damage to enemies. By utilizing the Power Gear, you’ll get a longer dash and a more powerful explosion! Pile Driver makes a great way to get across gaps or to cover ground swiftly, and can even pierce straight through weaker enemies. It’s a great choice for completing stages quickly, or for clever movement tricks as long as you have the weapon energy to use it.
We can’t wait to see how you all put this unique weapon to use when Mega Man 11 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 2 nd . If you’re in Seattle for PAX West this year, you won’t have to wait much longer to try it out for yourself: we have a Mega Man 11 demo with both Pile Driver and Block Man’s Block Dropper available to try, alongside Mega Man’s trusty Mega Buster and the help of Rush with Rush Coil! Of course, those weapons wouldn’t be any good without stages to try them in, and we’re bringing four playable stages to the show: Block Man , Fuse Man , Torch Man , and Impact Man.
If you’re at PAX West, be sure to stop by the Capcom booth and take the latest demo for a spin for a special Mega Man 11 Pinny Arcade pin (while supplies last). Keep an eye out on the official Mega Man Twitter and Facebook pages for all things Mega Man.

G, the Man of Mystery, and Sagat, the Solitary King, will be bursting their way in to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition on August 6!
A man of mystery has appeared calling himself the “President of the World.” First revealed in the cinematic opening at Capcom Cup 2017, G is a mysterious new character who wishes to unify the world as its president. He decides to spread his message in ways the modern world can understand: through social media. Initially, he doesn’t receive much attention until Rashid comes across his videos and decides to help amplify G’s message to the people. That being said, there’s much more to G than meets the eye…
As a new character, G has a unique move set that utilizes his role as the “President of the World” and his mysterious origins. During a fight, his Presidentiality level can be seen next to the V-Gauge in the form of an icon representing the Earth. By using G Charge, G absorbs power from the Earth to increase his Presidentiality level to 3. The higher his Presidentiality level is, the more powerful his special moves are. However, if G is knocked down, the Presidentiality level will go down.
G’s special moves and their properties during level 3 Presidentialilty are as follows:
G Smash Over: A quick lunging punch that sends a citizen of Earth flying
Level 3 Presidentiality: Two hits that causes a wall bounce
G Smash Under: Quick lunging punch that hits low and causes knockdown
Level 3 Presidentiality: Two hits that also cause knockdown
G Burst: A downward molten projectile
Level 3 Presidentiality: The projectile now splashes upon hitting the ground, which sends magma at an upwards angle
G Spin Kick: G twists his body in the air and kicks the opponent at a downward angle
Level 3 Presidentiality: Now gains projectile invincibility
G Impact: A command grab that launches citizens of Earth and can be followed up by several special moves.
Level 3 Presidentiality: A multi-hit command grab that also launches opponents
Message to the People: G delivers a speech meant to unite all citizens of Earth. During this speech, G gains EX Gauge, but is left vulnerable to attacks. Presidentiality has no effect on this glorious speech.
Using G Charge by itself leaves G vulnerable to attacks from citizens of Earth. However, G can cancel certain special moves into G Charge to safely increase his Presidentiality.
V-Skill – G Barrier
G emits a force field from the energy of Earth around him that can hit nearby citizens of Earth, which sends them launching in the air and can then be followed up by certain attacks. G Barrier can also absorb projectiles. In addition, G Barrier can be used in the air!
V-Trigger I – Maximum President
In this three-block V-Trigger, G’s skin becomes gold. During the duration of Maximum President, all of G’s special moves are strengthened to their level 3 Presidentiality. G can also cancel his special moves into each other. Finally, G can now launch G Barrier as a projectile, even in the air!
V-Trigger II – Dangerous President
In this two-block V-Trigger, G’s arms become molten with anger. By pressing HP+HK again, G will use G Explosion, a special move that can be canceled into from a special move that sends citizens of Earth flying into the heavens. G can also use G Rage, a command grab that contains one hit of armor and deals a decent amount of damage.
Critical Art – Pangaea Burst
G lets the citizens of Earth feel the full force of Gaia and unleashes a destructive set of magma pillars.
Take a look at G’s Story Costume, which may resemble another man of mystery.
Sometimes, Presidents need to go hunting, which is why G has chosen this outfit as his Battle Costume.
The king has returned to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition! Bow down before him or prove you are a worthy opponent. First appearing in the original Street Fighter as the final boss, Sagat has become one of the most recognizable characters in the entire series. As the emperor of Muay Thai, Sagat’s main goal in life was to be the strongest fighter in the world, which he believed he was until a certain martial artist named Ryu came along and defeated him. M. Bison witnessed Sagat’s power and offered him the services of Shadaloo in order to search for Ryu. Sagat accepted and became one of the feared “Four Heavenly Kings,” but when he realized M. Bison was attempting to corrupt Ryu, Sagat left as he wanted Ryu’s mind to be clear for their rematch. Since then, he has made it his life goal to defeat Ryu, but only if his rival doesn’t hold back. In Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Sagat has become a hermit in a secluded village and must overcome his inner demons.
Sagat’s iconic move set remains true to his past appearances in the Street Fighter series. Tiger Shot is a projectile that changes speeds depending on which punch button you press and cannot hit crouching opponents. Grand Tiger Shot (Low Tiger Shot in previous titles) can hit crouching opponents, but deals less damage and is less safe. Tiger Uppercut is a dragon punch-style attack that can be used as an anti-air or a reversal. Tiger Knee Crush (Tiger Knee in previous titles) is a quick lunge that can close the distance between Sagat and his opponent.
V-Skill – Angry Charge
Much like its previous iterations, Angry Charge sees Sagat clutching his scar to power up both the damage and stun for the next use of his Tiger Uppercut.
V-Trigger I – Tiger Charge
In this three-block V-Trigger, Sagat unlocks the ability to use Tiger Cannon by pressing HP+HK. Tiger Cannon is a large and quick projectile that deals decent damage. All of Sagat’s normal moves can be cancelled into it, which creates some devastating combos that take advantage of his long reach.
V-Trigger II – Tiger Assault
In this two-block V-Trigger, Sagat unlocked Tiger Spike by pressing HP+HK and Tiger Rush with Forward plus HP+HK. Tiger Spike is a long-reaching sharp kick that has armor on startup and can be cancelled into by most of Sagat’s normal moves. In addition, if HP+HK is held down, Tiger Spike breaks the opponents guard.
Tiger Rush is an altered version of Tiger Knee Crush that sees Sagat lunge forward with his knee. It can be cancelled into by most of Sagat’s normal moves and is useful for combos.
Critical Art – Tiger Rampage
Sagat shows exactly what it means to be the emperor of Muay Thai by delivering a series of kicks and punches followed by a charged up Tiger Uppercut.
Take a look at Sagat’s Story Costume, which reflects his time as a hermit deep in the mountains.
Sagat’s Battle Costume is inspired by traditional Thai clothing.
This nostalgic costume needs no explanation for the king!
New Stage – King’s Court
A reimagining of Sagat’s classic stage from Street Fighter II, this beautiful location featuring the iconic reclining statue will be available on August 6!
G and Sagat are available individually for MSRP $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money OR as part of the Season 3 Character Pass for MSRP $29.99, which also unlocks Sakura, Blanka, Falke, and Cody. If you purchase G or Sagat as part of the Season 3 Character Pass or with real money, you will also get their Battle Costumes with colors 3-10 and default costume colors 3-10.
G and Sagat are both available on August 6! How’s that for an end to the spectacular Season 3? Stay up to date on all things Street Fighter by following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook .
It’s one of the biggest weekends for fighting games around the world! EVO 2018 is back from August 3-5 in Las Vegas, Nevada. We’re celebrating by hosting a FREE TRIAL on Steam for Street Fighter V and by having a dozen different sales for Street Fighter V !

SFV FREE TRIAL ON STEAM: AUGUST 2-6
Ready your spirit, for Street Fighter V will be free to play on Steam from August 2-6! Now is the time to become a World Warrior and witness the latest era of the legendary fighting game series. The free trial will begin on August 2 at 10am PT and go until August 6 at 10am PT. You must have internet connection to download the game, including the patches to implement the modes introduced with Street Fighter V.
If you’re new to Street Fighter V, here are the modes you can play during the trial period:
ARCADE
As the mode Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is named after, Arcade Mode expands on the classic fighting game staple to provide an experience unlike any other. You’ll choose between six different paths, each representing a main title in the Street Fighter franchise: Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter IV, and Street Fighter V. Each path contains characters faithful to the respective title or in some cases representative of other characters – for example, Zeku represents Geki in the first Street Fighter. The barrel-breaking Bonus Stage also returns in their respective paths to give you a chance to get a higher score.
STORY
Find out what each of your favorite characters and newcomers are up to during the events of Street Fighter V. Complete each character’s story to unlock the ability to purchase their story costume!
VERSUS
Play against a friend locally or against the computer. You can change the number of rounds and even the difficulty of the computer.
CHALLENGES
Learn more about each character, including combos and demonstrations on how to best utilize their unique move sets. Participate in Survival mode where you’ll face a set number of computer opponents depending on the difficulty you choose.
TRAINING
In this highly-customizable training mode, practice against a dummy with various parameters set to your liking. You can record the dummy’s actions, view attack and frame data, and turn on fight requests while practicing.
CFN
Fight against players all around the world! Casual matches won’t affect your overall ranking, while ranked matches will. You can also join a lobby to play against friends, find like-minded opponents, or to just spectate online matches.
If you’re not at EVO 2018 – or even if you are – and have yet to play Street Fighter V, this weekend is for you! Watch the highest level of play at EVO on Capcom Fighters all weekend for some inspiration!
Monster Hunter: World Free Title Update #4, which includes the legendary Behemoth (version 5.00 (PS4) / 5.0.0.0 (Xbox One)) is now live; patch notes available below.
Multiplayer Cutscenes
Like the gallery, if any button other than Options is pressed during a skippable cutscene, a control prompt now appears at the bottom-right of the screen to indicate that you can skip the scene.
Bug Fixes
Long Sword
A bug was fixed where Spirit Blade would be performed on its own when, after the player fails to connect with Foresight Slash, the R2 input would remain in the input buffer and execute after a side dodge was performed.
A bug was fixed where the Spirit Gauge would not decrease and damage would not increase when Jumping Spirit Blade III connected on a target with the Spirit Gauge at red. Damage will now be increased, with the Spirit Gauge being correctly consumed.
Insect Glaive
A bug related to Strong Jumping Advancing Slash was fixed where only the final attack would be receive the benefits from the Airborne skill. Now all attacks within the move will receive the skill buff.
Great Sword
Fixed a bug where holding the R2 button (PS4) or right trigger (Xbox One) while landing after the 2nd stage of a Plunging Thrust (after comboing into it from a Rising Slash after a slide) would not transition into a guard.
The behavior of the camera during Tackle I and II wasn’t going back to normal when the action finished, resulting in unforeseen behavior. They have now been fixed to match the behavior of the camera from Tackle III.
Lance
A bug was fixed where a Mid Thrust would occur if you attempted a Guard Dash after a Counter-thrust.
A bug was fixed where a forward Guard Dash would occur regardless of the direction pushed.
A bug was fixed where a Guard Dash would not work if the player preemptively input the Guard Dash when the player and the direction pushed were completely the same.
Hammer
A bug was fixed where a Charged Upswing would be performed when charging and attempting to perform a Spinning Strong Upswing while moving down a slope (before the player begins to slide).
Switch Axe
A bug was fixed where Directional Control Type 2 would not work properly when pressing forward during the Switch Axe’s Overhead Slash.
A bug was fixed where Wild Swing’s attack hitbox would disappear mid-attack when the timing to press Triangle (PS4) or Y (Xbox One) to perform Axe: Overhead Slash was too fast.
A bug was fixed where the phial gauge would not replenish when using a whetstone while the weapon was sheathed.
Charge Blade
A bug was fixed where the axe would continue to rotate when canceling from Super Amped Element Discharge to Amped Element Discharge with no phials stocked.
A bug was fixed where the connecting animation would not play and instead an attack would be performed when canceling the last half of a recovery animation (knockback, blow back, etc.) with Amped Element Discharge or Super Amped Element Discharge.
Bow
A bug was fixed where Dragon Piercer would fire outside the intended range when the reticle was moved out of range the moment Dragon Piercer is fired, and the player tries to aim the bow.
Slinger
A bug was fixed where a Circle button action would be performed after an R2 special weapon attack, after the player jumps off a ledge with the Circle button during the middle of a Slinger ammo load animation (including when the Sword and Shield is drawn). For this fix, we have rendered all buffered inputs invalid during the Slinger’s loading animation. While buffered inputs are invalid even during the Sword & Shield’s unsheathed Slinger loading animation, by canceling the loading animation there won’t be any noticeable difference, so the impact on controls should be minimal.
Appraisal Weapons
The element value for Rarity 7 Taroth Strongarm “Spark” and Taroth Strongarm “Mire” Charge Blades have been changed to the following values. Taroth Strongarm “Spark” Thunder 90 -> 150 Taroth Strongarm “Mire” Water 120 -> 180
Specialized Tools
A bug was fixed where usable time for mantles would decrease during animations such as sniffing tracks. It has now been fixed so that a mantle’s usable time will not decrease when standing still, which was the original intent.
Skills
A bug was fixed where the effective time of a Cool Drink would be overwritten by a player using a Cool Drink with the Wide-Range skill active, without checking the current Cool Drink effective time. It has now been fixed so it will only be overwritten only when prolonging the effect of the item.
A bug was fixed where the effect of Might Seeds, etc. would be overwritten by a weak effect produced by a low level Wide-Range skill given to the player by a Palico. It has been fixed so it will only be overwritten when the effect is larger than the one already applied. (Players were only able recreate this bug with the above Cool Drink bug)
Items
A bug was fixed where EZ Lifepowder’s effective range was smaller than a regular Lifepowder. It has now been increased to match the regular Lifepowder’s effective range.
Monsters
Fixed a bug that made it appear (to players on the guest side of multiplayer) that monsters were sliding when knocked down on a slope and the down animation was replaced by a paralysis animation or similar.
Target Camera
A bug was fixed where the target camera would target another monster by itself when a targeted slain monster’s body disappeared during multi-monster slay quests.
A bug was fixed where if you’re using the Focus Camera and lock on to a monster moving between areas, repeatedly locking on and canceling the lock on would cause the camera to keep its focus on the monster. The camera will now properly cancel lock on.
Other
A bug was fixed where players joining could not progress pass the loading screen if a quest failed while the host fired an SOS flare, resulting in the SOS flare continuing to stay active even when the quest was effectively over.
A bug was fixed where NPC dialogue would close automatically when the Hunting Horn’s Health Boost (S) effect runs out. This fix prevents the Grimalkyne cutscene event in the Coral Highlands from getting stuck.
A bug was fixed where updated data between players differed when a player talks to the characters at the Resource Center when the limited bounties are being updated.
The height on Vaal Hazak and Arch-tempered Vaal Hazak’s field of view settings have been tweaked.
A bug was fixed where if the player mounted Lunastra in a specific part of area 11 in the Elder’s Recess, Lunastra would move to a location where the player is not permitted to go, and would be forcibly removed from Lunastra. This has been fixed by changing Lunastra’s travel route when a player is mounted on her.
A bug was fixed where Lunastra would move to another area even if stunned by a flash pod. It has now been fixed so Lunastra cannot change areas when blinded by a flash pod.
Lavasioth’s monster field guide data has been fixed to match the game parameters. Physiology: “Chest: Breakable” was fixed to “Back: Breakable” Rewards: “Chest Broken” was fixed to “Back Broken”
A bug was fixed where the “Reload” message would not appear when switching from a Light/Heavy Bowgun to a Gunlance during a quest.
A bug was fixed where sharpness level would not actually change when switching to equipment with the Handicraft skill equipped during a quest. Sharpness level will now go to its maximum level, accounting for the Handicraft skill.
A bug was fixed where the item window order would change unintentionally if the player switched between two equipment loadouts where the first specialized tool for Loadout A was the same as the second specialized tool for Loadout B.
A bug was fixed where the number of owned and used armor spheres would not correctly display under certain circumstances when upgrading armor.
A bug was fixed where, under certain circumstances when changing the color of layered armor, the color icon would disappear from all body parts except for the head when “Change All” was highlighted by the cursor.
Due to a texture setting mistake, the bloomers under the Blossom layered armor skirt displayed as black and white. They have been fixed to display the intended color, like the original armor.
A bug was fixed where a female hunter’s legs would become twisted when performing specific gestures twice in a row while wearing the Vaal Hazak gamma armor.
The visual appearance of the following armor (including layered armor) have been fixed. 1. Male character’s hair would jut out of the Diablos Helm Alpha, Diablos Helm Beta, Empress Crown Alpha, Bushi Kabuto “Sabi” armor. It has now been reduced. 2. When a male character is wearing Brigade Lobos Alpha, part of their hair would go into the head of the character, and could be seen when the character opened their mouth.
Unlike during a quest, when talking to a First Wyverian during an expedition, the following information was not revealed to the player. It can now be obtained during an expedition. 1. Most slayed monster 2. Least slayed monster 3. Most captured monster
Localization-related bug fixes
A bug was fixed where, when playing the game in Arabic, after the Grimalkynes perform their assist move in the Ancient Forest the game would freeze.
In Italian, the translation for Quick Shot and Dashing Shot were the same. The translation for Dashing Shot has now been updated. Quick Shot Tiro Rapido (no change) Dashing Shot “Tiro Rapido” changed to “Tiro in corsa”
In French, the translation for Lunastra and Teostra’s bond attack contained an unintended translation. It has been fixed to the following. Lunastra Bond Attack “Super nova !” changed to ”Union avec la Lunastra !” Teostra Bond Attack “Hyper nova !” changed to ”Union avec le Teostra !”
In the gallery, a typo in the traditional Chinese title for “The Insatiable Deviljho” has been fixed. The Insatiable Deviljho “貧食的ææš´é¾” changed to “貪åƒçš„ææš´é¾”
