Shinsekai: Into the Depths is an action game filled with mystery, beauty… and danger! You play as humanity’s last survivor in an underwater world where the surface has been frozen solid. Your only choice, and chance of survival, is to explore the depths of your new aquatic… home (?).
In addition to the original art direction and simplistic approach to gameplay, our dev team also employed new audio tech to help you get fully immersed in your adventure. This time around, sound effects and music were played back and re-recorded underwater, leaving you with an authentic feeling of submersion.
If you like the sound of all of that and want to play Shinsekai: Into the Depths, you can actually play it now via Apple Arcade, which is now live in over 150 countries and regions, and even has a one-month free trial!
Go check it out and good luck in your deep sea journey.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne version 10.12 (PS4) / 10.1.0.2 (Xbox One) is now live. Patch notes are available below.
—
Guardian Armor
Fixed a bug that would not allow you to select the Guardian armor during character creation.
Music
Changed the design of how certain songs would play on repeat while at base.
Elder Melder
Fixed a bug where players were getting the same decoration results when using the Elder Melder’s First Wyverian Ritual.
Quest Board
Fixed a bug at the quest counter where the optional quest “Completed!” marker color would change from red back to blue after save data is imported into Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
Squad Card
Fixed a bug where the “Language” section of the squad card editing screen would not display correctly after importing save data from Monster Hunter: World.
Hunter Helper
Fixed a bug where the “Low Level Hunter Helper Reward” could be obtained even after failed quests.
Acidic Glavenus “Unavailable” Item
Fixed a bug where players could not properly obtain the “Glavenus Mantle” material from Acidic Glavenus.
Velkhana’s icecloak
Fixed a bug where players’ attacks would not properly remove Velkhana’s icecloak if it was put into paralysis while its icecloak active.
Radial Menu
Fixed a bug where the custom radial menu could be closed at the item box but would remain on the screen and disable normal controls.
Handler
Fixed a bug where the Handler would keep moving in certain places in the Ancient Forest.
Great Sword
Fixed a bug where great sword charges would not trigger charged slashes if the player landed on top of the ice ground created by Velkhana or mud created by Jyuratodus.
Training Area vs. Expeditions, etc.
Fixed a bug where the contents of expeditions were unintentionally updating after each use of “Change Objects in Area” in the training area.
In addition to this change, we are also exploring further changes to address the issue of intentional disconnects for resetting the Guiding Lands. While this should not affect players who enjoy the game normally, we’d like to ask for your patience as we look into implementing options that remove the need to attempt intentional disconnects.
Fixed other minor bugs.

This update file size is 70mb on PS4 and 80mb on Xbox One. Make sure you download an install it before your next play session.
Hello Hunters! The console release of Iceborne is upon us, so we wanted to go over some housekeeping items what you need to do to prepare for what’s coming in the next few days.
This blog will be a little on the dry side; trying to focus mainly on the logistical details of upgrading to the Iceborne expansion or Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – Master Edition which includes both the base game and the expansion.
1. Iceborne Release Timing
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is set for a global release on September 6th, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but to get a more precise window of when the expansion will actually be available, please check with your local retailers for the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – Master Edition physical version, and the time set on your region of choice for digital stores.
For example, with my region being United States, the digital version will be available for me to play at midnight Eastern Time on September 6th .
. . .
2. Iceborne Pre-Load and World Update
On Sep 4th @ 5pm PDT / Sep 5th @ 1am BST, a very important Title Update will be deployed. (Update: the latest Monster Hunter: World Title Update is now live!)
This one actually releases before Iceborne, and applies to all players of either Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. The goal here is to set the stage for the game to allow everyone to hunt together (within their given platforms).
On PlayStation 4, this will be version update 10.11, which is about 33GB, on top of version 6.02 (latest version).
On Xbox One, it’ll be version update 10.1.0.1, which is about 31GB, in addition to version 6.0.0.2 (latest version).
This update will contain a lot of data for Iceborne so consider it an equivalent to a “Pre-Load” for the expansion.
More details on what’s included in this update in section #4 (World Changes) below.
. . .
3. Pre-requisites for playing Iceborne
First up, you’ll need to own both Monster Hunter: World and Iceborne, or purchase the all-inclusive version Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – Master Edition .
Then you will also need to have completed the main story in Monster Hunter: World. You will know you have reached this milestone if your Hunter Rank is HR16 or above. If you find yourself wanting to play Iceborne and are not yet HR16, make sure to download update 10.11 / 10.1.0.1 and use some of the features we have implemented to expedite your journey (Guardian Armor, improved Monster track gathering for certain quests, etc.). Additionally, if you own Iceborne and are below HR16, you will be able to enjoy some of the new features in Iceborne (Clutch Claw, Raider Rides, etc.) as you progress through the World story.
Important: when upgrading from World to Iceborne , please make sure that both games are of the same region to ensure your Save Data carries between the base game and expansion. This will ensure compatibility regardless of format: digital or physical.
. . .
4. World Changes
Version update 10.11 (PS4) / 10.1.0.1 (Xbox One) brings a lot of changes and new features into World and Iceborne. For Iceborne players, the list is a little longer being more focused on new features, such as the Clutch Claw, and of course the new story with all the added monsters and gear; however, we still wanted to highlight some of the important additions and changes that apply to World players (who do not own Iceborne ) as well.
For a full list, please check our Update Outline page, which also includes various Patch Notes on weapon changes and balance updates, but here are some highlights:
Guardian Armor: This free armor set is included with the update and gives you a head start in your journey through the Monster Hunter: World story. Along with a great selection of survival skills, its defense value can be upgrade to withstand battles against the mighty Elder Dragons you’ll face near the end of the World story.
View Mode: This feature allows you to break free from the standard camera controls to line up the perfect photo. Note: this does not pause the game.
Squad Card: This is the evolution of the Squads feature, and allows you to invite and accept requests even if the other players are not currently online or in the same Online Session as you.
Additional HUD / UI Options: Added options to toggle individual HUD elements On or Off, adjust certain aspects of the Chat Window, Hunting Horn UI, etc.
Dynamic Multiplayer Difficulty: This new system improves the original difficulty scaling from World to now adjust between three settings: single player, two players, and multiplayer (three or four players). The system also scales up or down to match the number of players, so if players leave the quest for any reason, the difficulty scales down if you end up with a party of two hunters, or by yourself.
Accessibility Options: Added an option to view your own player silhouette so you can keep track of your actions even if monsters, objects or terrain obstruct your view. Also added a “Color Blind” option so you can adjust color correction for certain key UI elements, such as Sharpness and other gauges.
Various Quality of Life Improvements: Here are just a few examples:
“Take All” button added to Quest Rewards screen;
Option to remove all Decorations that were slotted in equipment pieces;
A “Craft All” function for combining items via Radial Menu;
Option to equip Item Loadouts without changing Radial Menu settings;
…and more.
As I mentioned above, there is a more comprehensive list on our website, so please refer to that for more details on updates and changes.
. . .
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be launching on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6 th (again, please check with your local retail or digital stores for more precise timing). The PC version will be releasing in January 2020.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask in the comments below and we’ll do our best to track it down.
We’re nearly there, hunters; the final stretch! We just dropped a “shocking” new trailer, our final Beta goes live tomorrow and the game launches in just a week, so this is as good a time as ever to look back and take a full count of every new, returning fan-favorite, Elder Dragon, subspecies, and variant monster we’ve revealed (thus far) for Iceborne.
Just a quick note, we’re only counting the monsters we’ve officially revealed as additions to Iceborne , so this list will not include the vast selection already available in the Monster Hunter: World base game. Alright, let’s get started:
Acidic Glavenus
The regular Glavenus species is getting a revamp for Iceborne , but we also wanted to expand on that concept and try new things. Instead of a fiery Great Sword-like tail, Acidic Glavenus will bring a sulphur coated Long Sword-like tailpiece to the fight.
. . .
Banbaro
This was the first new monster we revealed for Iceborne, setting the frosty tone for the massive expansion. Its unique environmental interactions and gameplay ushers us into the new Hoarfrost Reach ecosystem.
. . .
Barioth
The fan favorite tusked wyvern returns with its signature wall-clinging tricks, all-new attacks, and a revised rhythm to its movements.
. . .
Beotodus
Another monster that made its debut in the first trailer for Iceborne, Beotodus will be ready to welcome you into Master Rank with speedy surprise attacks, Iceblight, and more! Exciting!
. . .
Brachydios
Okay, this fight is a blast. Literally. With the power to create explosions everywhere and new properties for its slime attacks, Brachydios will make you question its spot on your favorites list. (Pretty sure it’ll still stay near the top though).
. . .
Coral Pukei-Pukei
This one is another great example of our designers expanding upon a monster’s original concept with a new take. The Coral Pukei-Pukei subspecies spits water instead of Poison… and uses its tongue in a very interesting way to complement that. Let me know what you think when you spot it.
. . .
Ebony Odogaron
This Odogaron subspecies is quite terrifying. Not only does it start fights in a powered-up state, it carries around meat to regain strength and is charged with Dragon elemental that can take away your weapon’s elemental or status properties. Beware of Ebony Odogaron!
. . .
Fulgur Anjanath
Anjanath was the very first monster we showed publicly for Monster Hunter: World—also how fitting that its name starts with “A”—so this one has a special place in MH history. Fulgur Anjanath takes the core concept and gives it a shocking twist: electric charged snot! You are not ready for this.
. . .
Glavenus
We already covered Glavenus in the Acidic Glavenus portion, but this brute still deserves a lot of attention and respect. Don’t underestimate this monster thinking it’ll be like its previous iterations… anyways, watch out for more burning sources other than its giant tail.
. . .
Namielle
This new Elder Dragon stormed in as a teaser on our previous trailer , and quickly flooded the internet with excitement and excellent fan art. Our newest trailer shows a liiiiittle bit more gameplay, but we’re largely saving this one for the game’s release so… have fun!
. . .
Nargacuga
One more fan favorite former flagship monster returns to the fray! Nargacuga won our hearts with a faster combat rhythm, awesome gear and a killer music track back in 2009. Now, 10 years later, we’re ready to fall in love again… and fall in battle to those deadly tail slams!
. . .
Nightshade Paolumu
Did you ever wish you could snuggle up to Paolumu’s big furry neck and just doze off? Well, now you can! I mean, you will… even if you didn’t want to! And instead of a comfy furry spot, you’ll meet the hard end of its tail. Wow, this went from “dreamy” to “nightmarish” rather fast… and that’s Nightshade Paolumu for ya.
. . .
Shrieking Legiana
So far, we’ve seen and talked about a number of subspecies, but Shrieking Legiana is actually catalogued as a “variant” of the Legiana we already know. This variant is much more in tune with its ice element, so get ready for some extra frosty attacks.
. . .
Tigrex
Part of what makes Monster Hunter monsters so special is that each of them seem to have their own personality. Some are graceful, some are more guarded, others are tranquil until you pick a fight, etc. Tigrex, however, is pure rampage… all the time! Hunting one is a true test of endurance and survival. There’s nothing quite like it.
. . .
Velkhana – the flagship monster of Iceborne
Much is still unknown about this mythical Elder Dragon, but what we do know is that it can command the ice element in impressive ways and its roar sounds like… singing…? I really can’t wait for you to discover all about this majestic being, along with the mysteries behind the story of Iceborne.
. . .
Viper Tobi-Kadachi
The regular Tobi-Kadachi was the first monster in World to threaten hunters with Thunderblight, challenging us to be more aware of receiving repeated attacks and the consequences that follow. The Viper Tobi-Kadachi is here to dial that concept up to 11, pressuring you with 2 different status ailments: Poison and Paralysis!
. . .
Yian Garuga
Everyone’s favorite short-tempered purple bird wyvern is back! Actually, I hear it’s not technically “everyone’s favorite” but… look, it’s got all the makings of one: a rugged but stylish design, badass soundtrack, a memorable roar and an attitude! What’s not to love?
. . .
Zinogre
Ah, Zinogre… took you long enough to make your way to the New World, huh? Well, glad you could make it, bud. And I’m sure a lot of folks out there will agree. I already wrote a bunch about Zinogre on the latest PlayStation Blog, so I’m actually going to leave you with that. =]
. . .
That’s it for the new and returning monsters we’ve revealed (thus far) for Iceborne . In hindsight, I wish I had made a list like this for World so we could add them together and see the full breadth of content in the game but—actually, why not? Here’s Monster Hunter: World from A to Z “short ver.”:
That’s quite the list! Personally, I’m pretty happy both lists have monsters starting with “A” and “Z” but I’m particularly excited to see Yian Garuga again, hunt it and craft all its gear. Which monster are you most excited to hunt and craft gear from in Iceborne?
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launches on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6, and on PC in January 2020. Happy Hunting!
Six games, five heroes, and two series megamerge into one giant collection! Taking legendary Reploids into the far future, join Zero as he battles against the forces of Neo Arcadia, then witness the rise of a new generation looking to carve out their own story. Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection brings the intense action of Mega Man Zero through Mega Man Zero 4 as well as Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent to modern platforms beginning January 21, 2020!
Just like with past Legacy Collections, you’re getting a ton of bonus content, including galleries filled with character illustrations and art. There’s also a music player, great for listening to the excellent tracks from each game, and several new songs made just for Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection! Plus, if you watched the trailer, you might have caught a sneak preview of a brand new Z Chaser mode being added. We’ll have more info on that soon, but for now, let’s get to the games.
“Zero… has been resurrected….”
Set hundreds of years after the events of the Mega Man X games, Mega Man Zero sets the stage for the revival of the legendary Reploid Zero as he joins human scientist Ciel and Resistance forces in their fight for a better future. As the events of each Mega Man Zero game unfold, you’ll learn more about the fate of old friends and gain powerful new allies… as well as cross paths with terrifyingly destructive foes.
Fortunately, Zero still knows how to fight, but it’s up to you to put his skills with a Buster and his legendary Z-Saber to use. You’ll need to bring your absolute “A” game if you want to stand a chance of cutting through challenging stages and difficult foes alike! With each adventure featuring a unique ranking system that can affect what attacks bosses use and even what powered-up EX skills Zero learns from his victories, it’s up to you to use familiar armaments and new, unique weapons to take down your enemies. As you progress through each game, you’ll come closer to uncovering the truth behind the ruinous Elf Wars and the dark secrets lurking within Neo Arcadia.
“Okay, yell ‘MEGAMERGE!’ as loud as you can!”
Hundreds of years after the events of Mega Man Zero come to an end, humans and Reploids now live together in peace at the start of Mega Man ZX. However, an old threat has re-emerged: Mavericks. These berserk Reploids attack anything they see, and when they set their sights on a pair of Transporters on a routine delivery, the wheel of fate begins to turn again. As Vent or Aile, discover your ability to megamerge with Biometal Model X and Biometal Model Z to take on powerful new forms and put a stop to the Maverick menace!
Mega Man ZX Advent, set several years after the events of the first ZX, sees a new pair of heroes looking to make their own mark on history. With two overlapping stories each offering different perspectives, join Ashe or Grey as they discover who they are with a little help from Biometal Model A. Expanding on the first game, you won’t just gain new forms from defeated foes – you’ll be able to use “A-Trans” to copy their DNA and transform into bosses, gaining access to their unique abilities!
These games can be pretty intense. If you’re more the type that likes to sit back, relax, and enjoy a thrilling story, Casual Scenario Mode and Save-Assist have you covered. Casual Scenario Mode offers the same core gameplay experience, but powers up your character, gives you extra lives, and reduces the penalty of spikes and pits from instant death to taking damage instead. Save-Assist automatically saves your game mid-mission, giving you a point to restore from if things go wrong or if you’re looking to practice a difficult section or boss. Both Casual Scenario Mode and Save-Assist can be individually turned on and off for each game, putting the power of how you want to play in your hands.
“When an enemy appears… I’ll terminate it…”
All of that isn’t even counting additional features for modern consoles, including optional visual filters and multiple screen layouts for ZX and ZX Advent !
There’s a lot to look forward to when Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection brings all six of these great games and more to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 21, 2020! Plus, if you pre-order the game, you’ll get the Reploid Remixies, an additional ten new in-game songs – one new stage remix in each of the six games, and four bonus Music Player tracks. We’ll have even more to share over the next few months, including information on the unique Z Chaser mode, so be sure to follow Mega Man on Twitter and Facebook for all the latest.
As an added bonus, if you’re attending PAX West, we’ll have all six games in the collection playable on the show floor, so be sure to stop by and check it out!
Ready your Long Swords and your Z-Sabers – and be sure to pack a hot drink or two – Capcom will be at PAX West with Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, the just-announced Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection, and other fun activities to check out in Seattle! Make plans to stop by the Capcom booth (#1102, Level 4), and read on for more info on what we’ll be bringing this year, including a couple of signing sessions and a Monster Hunter Fan Event!

As an added bonus, while supplies last, everyone who plays the demo will get an exclusive Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Pinny Arcade pin just for playing! These pins will only be available by playing the demo or trading with other show-goers, so be sure to stop by the booth and get a demo in early!
After you’ve finished your quest, don’t miss out on a picture with the Velkhana! We’ll have full-sized weapons from MHWI on hand to help immortalize your encounter as you face down this mythical wyvern using a special panoramic camera setup. If you can’t wait to get into the action, Monster Hunter: World is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC)
Featuring all four Mega Man Zero games and both Mega Man ZX games in one collection, Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection brings six adventures to consoles and PC for the very first time, with some modern touches in tow. If you haven’t checked out Zero’s continued adventures after the events of the Mega Man X games before, now is the perfect time to see what you’ve been missing out on. Blast enemies away with a Buster, cut through enemies using Zero’s classic Z-Saber, and uncover a deep overarching storyline shines a light on events that happened long before Zero’s reawakening. With challenging stages and tough bosses, finishing each stage is its own reward!
Set hundreds of years after the Zero games, Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent sees the rise of new heroes looking to tell their own stories. Join Aile or Vent in ZX and Ashe or Gray in ZX Advent as they learn about their ability to Megamerge with unique artifacts known as Biometals, and begin to learn about who they really are in the grand scheme unfolding around them. You’ll also be able to check out additional filters and screen layouts, as well as the Casual Scenario Mode and Save-Assist features available for all six games, so be sure to check it out!
Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 (Nintendo Switch)
Marking the first time both of these games are available on a mobile platform, take both of these survival horror titles for a spin on Nintendo Switch at PAX West.
Highly regarded for its co-op gameplay, Resident Evil 5 puts you in the boots of Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar, a pair of highly trained B.S.A.A. agents seeking to prevent the sale of a bio-organic weapon who uncover a much larger plot as a result.
Resident Evil 6 follows various interconnected stories, bringing together fan-favorite characters such as Leon S. Kennedy and newcomers like Helena Harper. Travel the world and play each story solo or with a friend to unravel the full picture behind a sinister conspiracy that threatens the entire world. Both games will include all previously released DLC when they release later this year on Nintendo Switch, making it a great time to check out these favorites if you’re looking for co-op on-the-go or missed them the first time around.

Wishing to educate the world on the long-term benefits of a relaxing soak in the tub, E. Honda is re-opening his popular bathhouse – Honda Sento. But as steadfast as his devotion is to all things hot and steamy, his number one passion will always be sumo wrestling. In this respect, Honda-san’s transition to SFV: AE is comprehensive. His Hundred Hand Slap still requires a precise pianoing of punch presses (this time, four rather than five) to let loose with the open palm assault. His Sumo Headbutt still hits like a speeding bullet train, while being susceptible to projectile pressure. And his Oicho Throw still makes him dangerous up-close. But far from a relic of the past, Honda’s formidable V-Skill and V-Triggers take his iconic fundamentals to the next level.
[V-Skill – Neko Damashi]
Honda’s V-Skill is a heavy-handed clap that negates single-hit projectiles. It can cancel into his special moves on block and hit. V-Skill into light Hundred Hand Slap, for instance, is a true block string and leaves Honda at frame advantage.
[V-Trigger 1 – Onigawara]
His V-Trigger unlocks a more potent version of the Sumo Headbutt, called Oni-Daikaku. It can combo from any normal attack, has one hit of armor on start-up and can cancel into a second headbutt called Oni-Muso. Oni-Daikaku can also be used to guard crush the opponent on a full charge.
[V-Trigger 2 – Tajikarao]
Honda’s V-Trigger 2 unlocks a running command grab with one hit of armor. The grab can hit raw or as part of a combo, with Honda slamming the opponent into the nearest corner, gaining frame advantage and removing the opponent’s ability to perform a back recovery. This makes it a particularly strong tool for oki.
Lucia
Having received a tip off from Haggar about a possible plot to take out Mayor Cody, Officer Morgan hits the streets of Metro City in search of answers. Her Gun Smoke command run lets her close the distance quickly with one of four follow-ups – the Rough Chase shoulder barge, Tornado Spinner juggle kicks, Cyclone Spinner anti-air and the Braking dead halt. She also has access to the Dragon Punch-style Hurricane Spinner, the Fire Spinner spinning back kick and flaming projectiles with unconventional flightpaths courtesy of Flipper Shot. All these specials are unsafe on-block unless timed meaty or spaced correctly, but thanks to her strong V-Triggers and a cancellable low forward that hits from afar, she has many ways to combo into them.
[V-Skill – Tap-Kick]
Lucia’s V-Skill is a multi-hitting kick that can be cancelled from most of her normal attacks and leaves her at advantage on hit. You just need to be mindful that it’s very unsafe on block.
[V-Trigger 1 – Burning Fight]
Her V-Trigger 1 enhances all her kick-based special moves, and when combined with her EX command run, can lead to some flashy and highly damaging combos. It also causes her V-Skill to score a knockdown on the final hit, leading to more oki opportunities.
[V-Trigger 2 – Weapon Fury]
Lucia’s V-Trigger 2 equips her trusty baton and unlocks Tactical Weapon. This move can be cancelled from all her normal attacks, is safe on block and can combo into all her special moves. Suffice to say, it’s tailor made for frame traps and extending combos.
Poison
Feeling down in the dumps after parting ways with her former partner-in-crime, Poison returns to Metro City in search of a new headliner for the wrestling federation. She’s received a whip upgrade compared to the short-range slapper she sported in Ultra Street Fighter 4 – this time she’s wielding a looping lasher with lasso-like range. Gone are the rekkas and chargeable projectiles, which are replaced by a refreshing mix of far-reaching normals that are easily buffered into her high kicking and whip whirling specials. And we haven’t even detailed her V-Skill and V-Triggers yet!
[V-Skill – Perfume Swing]
Poison’s V-Skill is a swinging strike that can travel one of two distances. It can be cancelled from some of her normal attacks and allows for a follow-up strike. It can also travel over most projectiles if spaced correctly.
[V-Trigger 1 – Poison Cocktail]
Her V-Trigger 1 gives her access to Molotov cocktails. These can be thrown either straight up or ahead and cause steady chip damage by setting the ground on fire. They’re useful for setups and combo extensions.
[V-Trigger 2 – Poison Glamor]
Poison’s V-Trigger 2 unlocks two commands grabs – Toxic Hold and Toxic Bind. The former does more stun and damage, but has limited range. The latter can hit from over half a screen away, but has more start-up and recovery frames. Both can be used mid-combo.

We loved this piece for how well it represents the franchise as a whole, tying together each lawyer of the Wright Law Offic—er, Wright Anything Agency with the characters that help define their individual journeys. The eccentric personality of each character shines through, with small nods to the games like Apollo looking through his bracelet, Athena’s Mood Matrix, and Pearl star struck by Mystic Mia.
This art stood out to us for how well it communicates the characters and their relation to each other in the original three games that marked the rise of Phoenix. You could mistake it for an ending screen from one of the games! The expressions really pop, too – this might be the happiest we’ve seen Gumshoe… ever! You can just imagine Phoenix hanging this up in his office and taking a trip down memory road each time he looks at it.
This wonderful rendition of the Prink Princess really stood out to our judge’s panel! Sal Manella would be proud of this dazzling character coming to life. You can clearly see the inspiration that Maya’s appearance brought to the overall design, and the careful details in the cherry blossom print make the entire costume feel very grounded and true-to-life while still capturing the essence of the Warrior of Little Olde Tokyo.
Spirit of Justice marks the return of an older, wiser, and just a tiny bit more serious Maya. We really enjoyed how this cosplay accurately captures Maya’s appearance in SoJ , with lots of care taken to re-create her outfit down to some of the smallest details on her gloves, and even the parting of her hair. You can really see her asking if you, too, have begun to walk the path of the Holy Mother… or maybe she’s just asking you to pick up a burger.
We were blown away by this one-person band, even more so that the artist combines multiple themes from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games into a single one-minute medley. Learning and playing multiple instruments is no simple task, and both the arrangement and the music were top-notch. This took some serious skills!
This one-person skit nails what makes the Ace Attorney games fun, and even includes some Apollo and Judge cosplay to bring you into the courtroom. You get the entire roller coaster ride of an AA case in the span of one minute, complete with the Judge’s typical frustrations, Apollo’s typical reactions, and more. An endearing video that we enjoyed for how sincere and light-hearted it is.
