Resident Evil lore buffs will want to dig into the latest update to ResidentEvil.net’s “Recollections” section . The section, which gives a chronological timeline of the series’ long, involved history of events, now includes story elements from the hit movie Resident Evil Damnation.
Check the timeline for all the important highlights from the movie, as well as the movie’s major characters and locations, which have been added to the glossary. Together they provide a quick summary of the crucial events that happened in the Eastern Slav Republic.
This info is exclusive to Recollections, so make sure to read up! And of course, stay tuned for more updates to the glossary, chronology, and articles over on Resident Evil Recollections.
“Man at Arms: ReForged” is a video series wherein master blacksmiths forge recreations of famous weapons from games, movies, and other popular culture, and their latest video aims to please the Devil May Cry fan in all of us. Yep, by popular demand, they’ve actually created a real-life replica of Dante’s trusty Rebellion.
The video is well worth the time not only for Rebellion fans, but also people who are generally interested in learning about how swords are created. It’s a lot more involved than the games make it look. I can only imagine how many Red Orbs this thing will fetch.

Happy New Year, hunters! Here are 4 new monsters you’ll get to fight in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate this year!
Throughout 2014, we talked about a variety of brand new monsters introduced in the fourth generation of the Monster Hunter series; but did you know even new monsters get their own subspecies? Most of them will be waiting for you at G-Rank , but here’s what they look like.
And I should note that I won’t be talking too much about them right now, since most of us haven’t even hunted the regular species yet.
Berserk Tetsucabra
A Tetsucabra so fierce it can bite into explosive rocks!
Ash Kecha Wacha
Imagine the regular Kecha Wacha… but with the ability to spit fire!
Tigerstripe Zamtrios
This one you may remember from our event demos; we even live streamed it before. Essentially a Zamtrios that can go between its various forms at any time and can paralyze you!
Ruby Basarios
While not a subspecies of a new monster, this is the first time the Basarios gets a subcpecies. Watch out for those ruby crystals… they look like they can break off. 😉
That’s all for now. Keep your eyes open for more Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate news in the coming weeks and be sure to pre-order your copy today!
As most of you know by now, Felynes are back in a big way in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate ! We’ve already seen a number of awesome collaborations with other popular frachises (including Devil May Cry and Street Fighter ), but we feel it’s time to take a look at how the system works and what they can actually do for you in the game. Check it out in the video below:
So what do you think? Ready to customize your trusty Palicoes?
BTW, the Felyne pins are available at the Capcom Store:
A little while back this awesome banjo player surprised us with an acoustic rendition of the Mega Man X opening stage theme … now he takes on the classic Mega Man 2 Dr. Wily Stage theme, and it’s as amazing as you’re imagining; but why leave it up to your imagination? Check out the video below:
I enjoyed every second of this, and hope you did too!
Also, am I the only one who watches these videos multiple times focusing at each screen each time? And what’s he doing at 0:25 on the bottom right one?

Steam’s legendary Holiday Sale has kicked off, and you can pick up a wide range of Capcom PC titles for cheap as chips! 2009’s Bionic Commando for two bucks?! Come on.
Sonya Belousova is a composer and pianist who has, to put it in gaming terms, Platinumed the piano. She can basically make it do anything she wants, as evidenced in these incredible videos.
First, she made and performed this beautiful arrangement of Guile’s Theme. It really does go with everything!
Then she played a bunch of NES tunes she learned right there on the spot, including the Mega Man 2 theme and DuckTales’ ever-popular Moon Theme.
Like…that’s what she’s capable of putting together in like two minutes. Holy hell.
Luckily, she and director/producer Tom Grey are using the crowdfunding platform IndieGogo so that we who love these videos can help them make more of ’em. If you’re so inclined, go ahead and chip in so they can keep bestowing this musical magic upon the world.
