Look, I know that you know that the  monsters are the true stars of  MH … but besides iconic designs and lovely roars, their A.I. is very intricate; and it’s been getting better and better with each iteration!

Attack a monster with a melee weapon, and they will engage in an attack pattern that makes being near them very dangerous; attack them with a ranged weapon, and they will shoot deadly projectiles and ram you with all their speed instead. NHL, or No Hope Left, takes its name from the hardest in-game difficulty setting, a fitting name considering the effort involved!

Earning the Badge will also unlock an exclusive NHL icon for use in your profile.

There are many more, so if that seems a bit excessive (S on everything??) you can try for some of the others. And then for the Revelations titles… well you gotta play to unlock ’em so happy hunting!

Today’s throwback livestream is all about  Mega Man Xtreme 2,  an adaptation of the early Mega Man X games for Game Boy Color starring both X and Zero. The game is out as of today on the 3DS eShop Virtual Console, and is the final game in our “Mega May” campaign. It’s been a fun ride!
