Following up on last week’s Lost Planet 3 update for PC, we have one additional update for you LPers.
It has come to our attention that first-time purchasers of Lost Planet 3 are experiencing issues saving the CAMPAIGN data; MULTIPLAYER and settings data is unaffected. An additional issue in which HD movies are not played back when installed has been found. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are currently working on providing an update within the next few days. In the meantime CAMPAIGN data can be correctly saved by following the steps illustrated below.
1. Open the file path \UserProfile\Documents\My Games\LostPlanetGame\LostPlanetGame (UserProfile is PC dependent)
2. Create a folder named “SaveData” without the quotes inside of the “LostPlanetGame” folder opened in step 1.
3. Start the CAMPAIGN mode to successfully save data.

If you’re into collectible card games, you may have heard of Square Enix’s “Deadman’s Cross.” It recently surpassed 3 million downloads!
Today they’ve started a crossover campaign with Resident Evil which will run until Sunday, July 27th.
During the campaign, Raccoon City will be added as a limited-time hunt area in the card game, and players will obtain exclusive cards celebrating the RE series as well as normal “deadman” cards. Completing a collaboration quest will give players a Raccoon City Permit, allowing them access to the Raccoon City area.
For the remainder of the day, zany Frank West-fest Dead Rising 2 Off the Record is available on Xbox LIVE for 66% off, knocking the price down to a mere $6.79. Hours of mirth, hilarity, and inappropriate photography for chump change!

If you like the idea of a more vertically varied combat, then you’re gonna love hunting a Kecha Wacha!
Hello~!
One of the biggest features in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is how it opened up the combat options to allow for faster vertical movement and better use of terrain when thinking up your hunting strategy. Now how about a monster that uses this same feature to hunt you?
Well, it’s important to note that all MH4U monsters make use the uneven topography in the game, but the Kecha Wacha has a few unique tricks of its own. For example, let’s say you’re standing on a ceiling of vines looking for the right opportunity to jump down and attack your prey. The Kecha Wacha can use its long arms to swing around underneath you and surprise you by pushing its way through the vines.
On the other hand, if the Kecha Wacha is also on top of the vines, it can grab a bunch of them and shake them vigorously under your feet causing a temporary stun that leaving you open for a potential deadly strike.

This Fanged Beast might look a little playful, but if it gets angry, it’ll cover its eyes with its ears, becoming invulnerable to both Flash Bombs and Sonic Bombs. Yep, hunting this beast is no monkey business!

Here’s some of the equipment you may craft after felling this beast:
Blademaster armor
Gunner armor
Great Sword
Hunting Horn

The biggest and baddest tournament of them all happens this week. Ultra SFIV will be making it’s EVO premier as nearly 2,000 players descend upon Las Vegas to battle it out for the right to call themselves “the best in the world.”
For those of you who won’t be there in person, fear not as you’ll be able to watch the action unfold on the Capcom Fighters channel starting tomorrow morning at 8am (PDT). The top 64 to top eight will also be happening later in the day on the official EVO channel starting at 6pm (PDT).
You can also check out the official EVO channel earlier in the day to catch other fighters that may be going on at the same time and to watch UMVC3 pools on Saturday.
Ready for EVO 2014 this weekend? Whether you’re training nonstop for the tournament or working hard to make sure your Friday is free, you should take a few minutes and take a look at this awesome collection of Street Fighter II fan art, specifically created by Brazilian fans/artists !
This collaborative project was to gather 17 tribute art pieces from 17 different artists focusing on 17 individual characters… why the number 17, I don’t know, but it totally works and the end result is a varied selection of characters rendered in vastly different styles. Definitely hit up their Tumblr page to check the full list out.
Here are some of my favorites below (as well as the hilarious He-Man Masters of the Universe crossover with Ken Masters above):
You’ll also notice various references to Brazilian pop and internet culture throughout some of the pieces, so feel free to ask anything in the comments; I can talk all day about that stuff. 😉
We’ve got a deep fondness for Bionic Commando around these parts, and we’ve already done throwbacks to the NES game , the remake of the NES game , and the 2009 gritty reboot . But today we want to look at the first-ever portable Bionic Commando game, which came out on the Game Boy back in 1992.
Easily mistaken for an inferior port of the NES game, this version actually features a variety of innovations and exclusive content, plus a fun new art style. Join us on Twitch at 4pm PT!
