Every weapon in Monster Hunter Tri is unique, each with it’s own combos, attacks, and balance. The lance a perfect example of this. A lot of games have swords, but not many games give you the opportunity to use a lance. In Monster Hunter Tri, you can do everything from charge straight at a target and plow through them, to a combo series of complex jabs and stabs. To make things even better, you’re given a massive shield that’s near impenetrable. With a strong shield and the far reaching attacks of the lance, this weapon is something you can’t go without.
