Nerve.com put together a nice Top 10 list of the greatest Fire Levels in gaming history, complete with videos.

With winners from Mega Man, Resident Evil, and Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts, the list is dominated by Capcom, showing that even when you’re doing a cliched level type, you can still do it RIGHT. I’d personally nominate ” Crimson River ” from Lost Planet Colonies as well 🙂
