So many hadoukens, so little time

Jun 24, 2013 // GregaMan

Late Night host and long-time champion of video games Jimmy Fallon recently set a new world record as dictated by record-setting team RecordSetter ,  for “Fastest Twenty Hadoukens.” Fallon had a line of Ryus stand on stage and launch the hadoukens in a record-smashing time of 37.85 seconds.

A quick calculation shows that that’s more than one hadouken every two seconds. I’m pretty sure I’ve fought some opponents like that online, but they usually go down before the 37.85-second mark thanks to my ferocious mastery of Bushinryu. Oh yes.

Anyway, check out this momentous achievement, followed by the record for “most Nintendo cartridges blown into” (by a member of The Roots, no less) after the jump.
