We’re releasing some brand new screens for Lost Planet 2 for GamesCom, including some high-res and heavily detailed renders of the Salamander Akrid and one of the Snow Pirates. There’s also some brand new screenshots of the City stage focusing on the new Vital Suits you’ll be piloting and using to wreak havoc in the baddies. 

You’ve been asking us about an option for split-screen play in Lost Planet 2. Well, we’re listening! Takeuchi-san has mentioned at GamesCom (thanks Joystiq!) that we’re actively pursuing implementing a split-screen mode. Although we can’t be sure it’ll be in the final game, since there are many technical hurdles to overcome.
