Website GamePlayBook recently put together their five most requested fighting game sequels from Capcom:

If anyone knows how to make a superb fighting sequel, it’s Capcom. The company surpassed itself with the release of Super Street Fighter IV earlier this year, and in 2011, we’ll be engaging in more cross-over fighting with Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. However, at this weekend’s EVO 2010 event, famed game producer Yoshinori Ono claimed that he would be showing off something new in a couple of weeks at Comic-Con. While he dropped a few hints left and right at what the project could be, he didn’t confirm exactly what it was.

And that got us to thinking. There are many fighting franchises that deserve a quality sequel from the Capcom camp. So here now are five games that we’d like to suggest for future release, in one form (retail) or another (downloadable). After all, we need something to keep our fighting controllers busy past Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, don’t we?
