Anytime two franchise collide, you can expect a good deal of fan service. Just look at Ultimate MvC3 – it’s positively crammed with Marvel and Capcom references, conjuring up a non-stop barrage of olde tyme memories. Similarly, SFxT is bustling with shout-outs to both universes, and even though it’s not out (and the crossover tidbits are far from over) GameSpot has already pointed out a healthy helping of nostalgia-bating goodness.

The only thing I’d add is that right behind the Mega Man 9 billboard you can plainly spot another ad sporting the NES Commando box art. Anything else in there you notice?
