It’s contest time! This Saturday, the 5th Annual Johhny Ramone tribute will be going down in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. This will be the World Premier of Night of the Living Dead remastered in 3-D (and color) as well as the outdoor screening of a vintage Ramones concert screened outdoors.

3,000 people will be in attendance, including stars like Steve Jones (sex pistols), Billy Zoom of X, Joe Escalante of the Vandals, PJ Soles (Rock n Roll High School), Rosanna Arquette, David Arquette, Pete Yorn, Charlotte Caffey of the GoGos, Stan Lee of the Dickies, Jeff McDonald of Redd Kross, and Rose McGowan. It is sure to sell out quick.

To heighten the festivities, NVIDIA will showcase its award-winning 3D Vision(TM) stereoscopic 3D technology and give attendees a chance to play this year’s hottest horror game, Resident Evil 5 PC, to experience what it’s like to have crazed zombies pop out of the computer screen. RE5 will also be featured in a 3D game video on the big screen.

The festivities start at 5:30PM and you can find more details here.

If you will be in Los Angeles this Saturday, we have three free admission passes that we are going to be giving out in the comments section below! Just let us know why you deserve to get a free pass and we’ll announce the winners tomorrow. Winners will also be able to pick up a free copy of Resident Evil 5 PC!

All proceeds for the event go to USC Westside Prostate Cancer Center.
