In case you missed its debut last week, here’s the newest trailer for Disney’s upcoming CG film “Wreck-It Ralph.” The titular Ralph is the villain of an arcade game who’s grown tired of being the bad guy, and sets out to find new opportunities in other games. Along the way, he bumps into some extremely familiar faces…

As a child of the ’80s, this is flat-out amazing to see. Beloved game characters, in their original game-like models, prominently featured in a mega-mainstream movie? Incredible, especially when you consider the cross-company interactions here. Pac-Man ghost, Bison, Zangief, Bowser, Dr Robotnik and more, all in one place, in one Disney film, is something I never could have imagined.

Sure there have been video game movies before (and always more on the way), but this is a film celebrating the game itself – not a Hollywood adaptation of it. Movie’s out in November!
