Ever wonder what the art of UMVC3 would look like if it came out 10 years ago following the success of MVC2? As I was purusing the wonderful pages of Deviantart , I came across quite a few pieces of art that helped answer that question.

The first piece (above), from Lordgman , gives us a vision of how the cover art would look, using the new characters. Compare it to the official MVC2 Dreamcast art below. Pretty nice right?

And if you’re wondering how the characters from UMVC3 would’ve looked in a 2d form, wonder no more as  Steamboy33  has designed the entire cast in sprite form.

Aaaaand just in case you wondering how the characters would look if they were chibi-fied (yeah, I made that up) and put in something like Pocket Fighter, the folks at Honouri put up this really fun piece. Can you say sticker-art?
