As we all know, the love for Street Fighter and competitive play isn’t limited to just the US, Brazil, Western Europe and Japan; but to the whole world. Unfortunately, some locations don’t get that much exposure, yet want to see their scene grow. In an effort to bring more visibility to those scenes, I’d like to shine a spotlight on those events that are looking to grow. So with that I present Games Zone in Poland, presented by the Backdash group.

Taking place today (October 5th) and tomorrow (October 6th), this annual tournament will feature the best players Poland has to offer in SSF4:AE 2012, UMvC3, KoF13, TTT2 as well as a slew of PC titles. If you’re in or around Poland, it will be held at XXIV International Festival of Comics and Games at the Atlas Arena.

I don’t know about you, but this is one of the main reasons I love fighting games; regardless of location, age, gender or physical status, we’re all brought together for our love of competition and for our love of fighters.
