Tatsunoko Vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars is Finally HERE!

Jan 26, 2010 // s-kill

They said it would never happen.

Bringing Tatsunoko Vs Capcom to the West would be a legal licensing nightmare.

It’s filled with weird characters I don’t recognize.

The game wasn’t online.

Hell, half the people asking about the game couldn’t even pronounce the first word of the title, much less tell you who Yattaman might be.

In spite of all of this, today, just over a year after the Japanese release, TvC: Ultimate All-Stars has launched here in the West.  It hasn’t just launched, either, it’s come with more characters (and a fresh retune for returning characters), the world’s biggest mini-game, and streamlined worldwide online.

At E3, the world’s top gaming press awarded TvC every prize available , the launch party was a smash , and half the reviews out right now are 9 out of 10s.

Although I am the biggest believer in the power of the community, I am still amazed  when I really get to see it in action.  Congratulations guys:  it’s TvC launch day, and you’ve made it happen.  Thanks to everyone who believed in this game–now let’s go play 🙂
