SFxTK Prepping for the Tokyo Game Show 2012

Sep 18, 2012 // Yuri Araujo

Just before TGS hits, here’s another update from  Street Fighter X Tekken producer Tomoaki Ayano:

Hey there everyone!

This time next week marks the start of the Tokyo Game Show! September 20th and 21st are the industry-only business days, while the 22nd and 23rd are the free-for-all public days.

You can check out all of the details about Capcom’s TGS Booth at our special site!

www.capcom.co.jp/tgs2012/index.html (Japanese only)

A playable version of SFXTK for the PS Vita will be available at the show!

Attendees who stop by the Capcom booth and play SFXTK will receive a complimentary original cleaner carrying pouch! These are in limited supplies, so make sure to get to the booth before they’re gone!

These pouches were also given out as presents to players who stopped by Capcom Summer Jam back in the beginning of July and played the PS Vita version of SFXTK, and they do a bang-up job of keeping your PS Vita all shiny and clean. The positive response we got from fans about this present was so overwhelming we decided to give them out again!

Even if you played the PS Vita version of SFXTK at Capcom Summer Jam, we encourage you to come out to the Tokyo Game Show and try it out one more time! For those who weren’t able to attend Summer Jam, this is your best chance to finally get your hands on the game!

That’s not all we’ve prepared for the Tokyo Game Show, either!

On September 23rd starting from 12:20 p.m., pro gamers Tokido and Fuudo will join me on stage for a special presentation! At Capcom Summer Jam, I had used the yet-to-be-released Bryan to defeat Tokido and Daigo Umehara in a close battle, but this time with the new characters now nearly 2 months old, it’s going to be way more difficult to take out these pro gamers…

At this presentation, our pro gamers will also hold a special lecture session! Attendees will be able to ask them what they think about when playing, how to improve their game, and much more!

If the Capcom booth is too crowded for you, we’ll also have playable builds at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan’s booth as well!

If you happen to spot me around the show this year, feel free to introduce yourself! For those who aren’t able to attend, I’ll be writing up a quick report about everything after the show, so be sure to check it out!

That’s all for now! This is Tomoaki Ayano, signing off until next week!
