Resident Evil: Genesis is an all new zombie-hunting adventure that returns the player to the frightening events that introduced the world to the Umbrella Corporation. It begins in a crumbling mansion overrun with zombies and other horrific preternatural mutations (not as horrific as the phrase “horrific preternatural mutations,” however). As one of the last remaining survivors of the elite S.T.A.R.S. police unit, the player must unravel devious puzzles and survive the deadly creatures armed only with their wits and whatever weapons they can find. The completely objective Midori Yuasa (President, Capcom Interactive, Inc.) says “The Resident Evil franchise has a long and storied history with Capcom. Resident Evil: Genesis delivers on the promise of thrilling, frightening and exciting gameplay that has become the hallmark of the series.†Even people that don’t have their rents paid by this game think it’s pretty sweet.
