Friend, video gamer, and game video-er Brian recently came to me with a cool piece of video content I think you may find quite. . . memorable. Ahh yes.

What he’s done is mashed up Kaskade and deadmau5’s “I Remember” with scenes from Remember Me, to moving effect. If you’ve played the game, you’ll likely note that the song fits in quite well with its themes, tones, and even its actual soundtrack. If you haven’t played the game, get on it! It’s rad.

Anyway, without further ado, here’s Brian’s vid. Just please be aware that it does contain some spoilers!!

A bit on his inspiration, in his own words:

Ever since I saw [Remember Me] at PAX, the concept of the game intrigued me. Possessing the ability to jack into the minds of others and alter their memories caught my attention. Then one day it hit me. After listening through ‘I Remember’ for the umpteenth time, the song’s tone, melody, and lyrics perfectly paired with the setting of Remember Me. . . .

So please enjoy my little piece of obsession turned into this creation. It’s a dedication to video games, music, and that little tick inside all of our heads that sometimes drives us down paths we never imagined.
