Remember Me fan art bringing good visual memories

Oct 22, 2013 // Yuri Araujo

Remember Me seems to have left a strong impression in some of us. Greg wrote an entire article praising its soundtrack, and here I bring you the best evidence for making a case about this game’s art style and characters: fan art!

Some may say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and I think fan art is exactly that but in a very explicit way. Wouldn’t you agree?

Now I, too, really enjoyed  Remember Me ‘s art style. Having played the entire game around launch time, I gotta say the team at Dontnod did a really fantastic job at conveying the atmosphere of Neo Paris, 2084, and make it a very believable city.

Anyways, since fan art tends to gravitate mostly towards characters, it’s no surprise that the protagonist Nilin is represented the most – also worth noting that she’s a really strong female character. You can tell the fan artists here pay respect for the aesthetics of the entire game by their choice in color and style. And there’s some Olga Sedova art too.

Good stuff, right? There’s some more  Remember Me fan art out there, but I’ll let you enjoy these for now. In the meantime, check out The Art of Remember Me ; it’s out already. This should also give you some time and inspiration to create your own fan art and hopefully make it to my next round-up. 😉
