Today we can officially confirm the 5th edition to the Ace Attorney series US and Europe availability, as well as its new title! Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney – Dual Destines is coming to the west via the 3DS eShop in Fall 2013. And after almost a decade out of practice, today’s trailer shows a rather explosive  reunion between Phoenix’s and his old stomping grounds…

As you might’ve noticed, Dual Destinies also marks the series debut in the THIRD DIMENSION! For the first time (give or take those litigious beatdowns in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom), your gumshoe investigations will take place across 3D environments.

In addition to the new look, Phoenix is joined old cohorts like Apollo Justice as well as an all-new character, Associate Attorney Athena Cykes. Via her “Mood Matrix” ability, players will be able to read a suspect’s emotional state, and thus further help Phoenix distinguish the triumphant truth from filthy, filthy fibs.
