Quests completed, creatures vanquished, and prizes won at the 2012 New York Comic-Con

We were so excited to show MH lovers the 3DS and Wii U versions of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, we decided to gear up and dedicate an entire room to the game(s). But it wasn’t just to give fans the chance to compete in tournaments for MH prizes, nor simply to provide folks with America’s first hand-on with the Wii U (although that was naturally a big part of it.)

We really wanted to create a space where Monster Hunter fans from all over to get together and show their strength. And boy did they! Fans of every MH iteration came together to hang out, play older games in the series together, and overall just create a friendly environment for Monster Hunter noobs to come in and get acquainted with the worldwide phenomenon many people in the US have yet to experience.

And you guys helped with that big time! Seriously, thanks to everyone who showed to play, chat and share. I honestly can’t recall a more cordial gathering of gamers. Holler at us in the comments if you made it there!
