Jun 18, 2009 // s-kill

MotoGP 09/10 is coming to X360 and PS3 next March. With a brand new developer featuring the core team from fan-favorites MotoGP, MotoGP 2, and MotoGP 3, this one is going for broke.

You’ll get the riders, tracks, and stats for the current season, and as the 2010 season starts, you can update with current, real-time rider stats for free.

You’re also not just riding a bike anymore–career mode lets you manage a whole team, with engineers, managers, and even PR people, all of which affect your pro career.  When you are riding, you can just win, or win *and* stick it to your opponents by stealing points.  You can also do it all online, against people from around the planet, with complete leaderboards and even spectator mode.

CAPCOM® ANNOUNCES MotoGP 09/10 FOR THE 2010 SEASON

Capcom takes the popular MotoGP video game series in a refreshing new direction for racing fans

San Mateo, Calif. — June 18, 2009 — Capcom® Entertainment, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced that MotoGP’ 09/10 is scheduled for release in March 2010 on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. This exciting new entry to the series is currently in development with Monumental Games, a team new to Capcom’s MotoGP series made of previous MotoGP game developers.

“We are thrilled that Capcom fans will have an opportunity to enjoy MotoGP with the freshest content running parallel to the real world GP season,” said Mona Hamilton, Vice President of Marketing for Capcom Entertainment. “This is an exciting development for the series.”

As the most comprehensive MotoGP game to date, MotoGP 09/10 will not only deliver all the bikes, riders and tracks from the 2009 championship, but brand new gameplay modes that offer rewards to the rider for their riding style. Furthermore, players will have the ability to update the game with accurate real-time content from the 2010 championship at no extra cost. MotoGP 09/10 will see the introduction of a fully realized Career Mode where players take part in the ultimate MotoGP world championship, competing in actual races and managing all aspects of their team. Gamers will hire engineers, team managers and press officers, all of which have a real impact on their career as a racing pro.

Complementing Career Mode, MotoGP09/10 will feature three additional gameplay modes to deliver the richest MotoGP experience ever. Arcade Mode is not limited to simply crossing the finish line, but adds a variety of challenges where players can earn and steal points from their opponents, encouraging a risk element for those who feel that simply leading the pack isn’t enough. As the only officially licensed MotoGP videogame title, MotoGP 09/10 will naturally allow gamers to compete in a full championship season across any of MotoGP’s three bike classes. For those who like to pit their skills against fellow racers from around the globe, MotoGP 09/10 offers a robust online mode with leader boards and spectator mode.
