Sony Computer Entertainment Japan gives out awards every year to the biggest selling domestic title on the PlayStation platform and this year, Capcom received two PlayStation Awards for Resident Evil 5 (Gold Prize) and Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G the Best (Platinum Prize). The gold prize is awarded to games that have sold between 500,000 to 1 million units (Yakuza 3 was another winner of this prize) and the platinum prize is given to games that have sold between 1-2 million units.
