The line between friend and foe isn’t always clear, both in real life and especially in the barely logical world of video games. Those that hover in the weird “frenemy” zone are always wild cards – are they here to help, or to hinder? The fine folks at GamesRadar have recounted some of gaming’s most memorable frenemies, with pro prosecutor Miles Edgeworth taking the top spot…

They do a good job explaining the choice, too, with a summary of Edgeworth’s path from foe to friend, and exactly why he ranks higher than the other characters on the list. There’s another Capcom frenemy in there too – the mysterious Ada Wong, who never really settles on either side of the fence.
