We told you about TheSpeedGamers ‘ 72 hour Mega Man marathon last Friday and the results are in: they managed to collect over $7,000 (just a little above their outlined goal)! The marathon ended and went into overtime that included some celebratory dancing and singing, including an impromptu Simple Minds karaoke performance. They didn’t get through all of the games that they had listed, but it was a good effort nonetheless!

We tip our hats to the gents over on the site for a job well done and wish them luck on their next marathon (scheduled for Halloween) which will be based on the Resident Evil series!
