Mega Man and Proto Man are powering up for a new adventure in 2027!

During Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2026, we debuted a new trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override, the latest adventure in the classic series! Of course, Mega Man won’t be going on this adventure alone, as his brother Proto Man will join him as a second playable hero. Get equipped with all new Custom Chips that grant new abilities and enhancements, and overwhelm your foes with the new Override system! You can see Mega Man in action below!

This new trailer gives an extended look at Mega Man’s gameplay, showcasing abilities granted by the Custom Chips like rapid-fire shots, a protective shield bubble, and even a hover ability. Customize your Mega Man and Proto Man, and mix and match Custom Chips to suit your playstyle to make the game your own! In addition to Custom Chips, you can also activate the new Override system, which unlocks a robot’s limiter and allows them to unleash devastating power! Be warned, as this power comes at a price, as the strain will cause many of your abilities to be temporarily inoperable. Learn how to wield this new power and use it to take on your toughest challenges!

Also revealed is an all new Robot Master, Twinkle Girl, an energetic and adorable robot that loves to entertain. When her desire to perform during her nighttime show sparks out of control, she goes on a rampage with her dazzling firework displays! It’ll be up to you to fizzle out her pyrotechnics. Longtime fans of the series may also recognize a familiar face from Mega Man 8, as Astro Man orbits into view (third time’s the charm!). Could his inclusion hint at a return for other classic Robot Masters? Stay tuned!

Mega Man: Dual Override is now available to wishlist on PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, and Steam.
