Mega Man 10 Fan Art Collaboration Top Five #1: Sarahfu and Garrett

May 04, 2010 // jgonzo

Capcom Japan, Capcom Europe, and Capcom US have collaborated (ha!) to hammer out the top 5 entries, and ultimately, winner of the Mega Man 10 Fan Art Collaboration Project . Each territory had submitted a top ten list and we weighed them all against each other to produce a top 5 list representative of all three regions. I’ll be counting down the top five five this week and next, with commentary from each region.

Representing Capcom Japan will be Mega Man 10 Associate Producer Akiko Ito.

For Capcom Europe, we have Product and Community Manager Karl Reader.

And for Capcom US, you have me, Community Manager Joveth Gonzalez.

This is it, the culmination of our Mega Man 10 Fan Art Collaboration Contest! I’m very excited to announce that, across all three major Capcom branches, Sarahfu and Garrett are the winners of the entire contest! They win the ultra rare Mega Man and Proto Man Kubrick figures (available only in Japan)! Garrett and Sarahfu, please PM me with your mailing addresses!

Hit the jump to see our comments after the break!

Capcom Europe (Mr. Reader): Super entry from Sarah and Garrett – capturing the spirit of Mega Man!

Capcom Japan (Ito-san): I like this because the art by itself is able to tell a story. I laughed at Sheep Man trying to peek around the corner and then I found Wily hidden in the picture and I laughed even harder! Solar Man crying looks very cute as well.

Capcom US (me): Sarah and Garrett took a risk by doing something completely different and unexpected. The great thing is that it worked! This piece is absolutely charming in every possible way. The illustrations are rich and detailed and they tell a complete narrative. Great work!
