What drew you to Morrigan in the first place?

Morrigan is such a strong, sexy character with a great spark. I’d love to be like her in real life, it would be so much fun, so cosplaying her was the closest I was going to get :p

What are peoples reactions to your cosplay?

Generally I’ve had a very positive response. Everyone seems to love the wings. I know the cosplay isn’t perfectly accurate but I will continue working on it to make it as close as I can. In the meantime I hope people like it ^_^

Are you actually any good playing as Morrigan, when were you first introduced to her?

I’m not amazing at playing as Morrigan, I love fighting games but couldn’t be put up against the big leagues hehe I can hold my own though 😀 she’s always my first choice. It probably wasn’t until capcom vs SNK 2 that I came across Morrigan, which then encouraged me to check out the darkstalkers series.

How long did your cosplay take to make?

 Probably a couple of weeks. I work full time so any costume building I do is of an evening or a weekend. I also originally made the wings out of a cotton fabric, but they were impractical, too heavy to stay up of their own accord and a little too plush / cuddly. With this in mind I remade them, bigger, stronger and better 😉

Is this your first Capcom cosplay? What other characters will you be cosplaying as?

Yes it is, however since Morrigan I’ve created a Cammy cosplay and one or two in the pipeline. I’ll keep them under my hat for now to keep you on your toes 😉
