You might have noticed there’s a lot of Monster Hunter news on the blog lately. As it turns out, it’s because I play way too much Monster Hunter that’s it’s slowly taking over me. But I promise not to let Monster Hunter take over the blog… yet. My additiction aside, here’s a bit of news that we recently announced for Japan that no doubt more than a few of you are interested in. 

First, there’s an “Extended Edition” of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Version coming to our e-Capcom store in Japan. It comes with a Monster Hunter themed headset, and making it even cooler is all wireless thanks to the magic of bluetooth. It’s 7,800円 (about $100 US), meaning if you’re looking to import it’s likely to cost even more. Click here to look and drool.

Second, the release date for the game has been announced as summer, August 25th! Excitement!
