E3 is still a week away, but some things are just so important they can’t wait! Not only did we pull the curtain back on DuckTales: Remastered coming to PC today, those lucky ducks over at IGN nabbed an updated playthrough of the Transylvania stage we showed off at PAX East , and even better, they also go an exclusive sneak peak at DuckTales: Remastered’s Amazon level!

But hey, at least they’re willing to share, and looky what they’ve done ! Here’s a brand new video showcasing what a difference fourteen years can make with a side-by-side comparison of the 1989 NES Amazon level and the updated 2013 version you’ll find in DuckTales: Remastered this summer.

Let’s all put our jealousy aside for a moment, because Richard George , the author of this fine D-Tales comparison piece, is clearly a fan of the game and I just can’t help but give out a happy squeak when it seems like someone remembers the original DuckTales game as fondly as I do. Fans of the classic NES game are probably going to get the most out of the gloriously realized nostalgia offered in DuckTales: Remastered this summer, so stay tuned because we’ve got some ridiculously cool stuff coming your way in just a couple days.
