Video game news site Gematsu  reports that Dragon’s Dogma  has climbed its way to the Number 1 spot on Famitsu’s Most Wanted Games of 2012 list. This may well be the first time a game with “Dragon” in the title that isn’t  a Dragon Quest game has ever achieved this lofty status. Indeed, Dogma  even beat out the upcoming Dragon Quest X, so this comes as high praise indeed.

Joining the hype train is Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which has leapt from the 26th spot on the list to the 9th. Woot!
