1UP has a great interview with “the Beast” , full of interesting stories about how he went from being just like everybody else to something closer to a force of nature (one correction–that youtube video of Daigo’s infamous EVO 2004 parry has closer to 15 million hits in its various forms–not 1 million :)). 

Gamespot Australia also showed up to cover the recent EVO APAC event which Daigo won.  Although he looks like some kind of terrifying murderer before the interview starts, he settles down a bit and gives some great insight into various players around the world, how to deal with nerves, and how to get past the idea that something this awesome is “just a game.”
