Character Tutorials for Black Panther, Sigma, and Monster Hunter for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
Nov 07, 2017 // Andy Wong
Black Panther, Sigma, and Monster Hunter have joined the epic clash and are now available in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite! Just as we did with the 30 characters at launch, we created character tutorial videos to help you get accustomed to these exciting additions to the roster.
Black Panther – The king of Valkanda is for the technically adept as his combo potential requires swift cancelling into his Wall Cling. Always be aware of your positioning as an ill-timed cancel will leave Black Panther vulnerable. Choosing the Reality Stone allows T’Challa access to a projectile, which gives him cover before pouncing on the opponent.
Sigma – A master at covering all angles of the screen safely, Sigma is definitely for those who value creativity in a character. Pair him with a high-damage teammate who can take advantage of his ability to open up his opponent in unique ways. Using the Power Stone improves Sigma’s relentless assault by introducing a quick attack leading into a wall bounce.
Monster Hunter – True to the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter is for players who have the utmost confidence in their predictive abilities as her great sword can be unforgiving to use. If you can master the great sword’s large but unwieldy hitbox along with the infinite armor it provides, you’ll find she is one of the heaviest hitters in the game. The Soul Stone is a great way for her to recover health to make up for her limited defensive options.
Black Panther, Sigma, and Monster Hunter are all available with the 2017 Character Pass or can be purchased individually – both options contain their respective Premium Costumes. We’re looking forward to the tech everyone will undoubtedly find and share with these high-skill characters!
We’re still diligently working on Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Venom, who we can’t wait to show off soon! As always, follow our Twitter and like us on Facebook to stay up to date on Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite .
