If there’s one thing I’ve learned to appreciate in hindsight, it’s hair. Seeing no justifiable alternative, I shaved my head once again last night only to discover that my scalp was somehow even more blindingly shiny than the last time. It didn’t used to be this way, friends. 

Street Fighter’s Guile is to be commended for his fastidious appreciation of his own hair, even in situations where a lesser man might have deemed it an irrelevant distraction–such as at the beginning of a street fight. 

In light of the Street Fighter II trilogy coming to the Wii U eShop this week, I say we give Guile’s fantastic hair a proper celebration. How? Well, I’ll leave that up to you. Draw a pretty picture, go crazy with PhotoShop, make an elbow macaroni collage, write a song inspired by the hair, make a video, design a Unity badge. . . . As long as it’s a celebration of Guile’s hair and you can show it to us in the comments of this blog post,  the choice is yours! We’ll run this from now through Friday at noon Pacific time.  

I’ll toss 600 Unity Points (enough for two normal raffle tickets) to anyone who submits something, and the person whose submission we like best will receive the awesome 1/4-scale Guile statue pictured above.

Our next-favorite will receive the following very cool Street Fighter poster, which features the classic cast as rendered by artist extraordinaire Shinkiro. On top of that, the poster is actually–gasp–3D! I know, it’s hard to tell from the photograph.
