Captain Hammer Enjoys Resident Evil

Sep 21, 2009 // jgonzo

Fresh off of the emmy win for the Joss Whedon-helmed Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog , Nathan Fillion (aka Captain Hammer) stopped by USA Today to talk about his most recent work on Halo: ODST and his video game credentials. It turns out that our man Fillion was a Resident Evil kind of guy:

When I was a kid, we had a Telstar, which was kind of a console with slide switches for on/off and Pong. And that was all we had. I move to New York and I’m on my own, and PlayStation came out. So I bought it, and I started playing Tomb Raider, Resident Evil — those were my two games.

Who knew that Captain Mal had his video game roots embedded in the Resident Evil universe?
