Capcom @ WonderCon This Weekend

Mar 28, 2011 // jgonzo

Those of you attending WonderCon this weekend here in San Francisco will be excited to know that we will also be there as well! We got a whole booth decked out, including our patented (not really) live ustream station, featuring Snow, yours truly, and anyone that we can get to hop on to chat!

This year, we’ll have an exciting lineup of game demos including recent hits like Marvel VS Capcom 3 and Okamiden , plus brand-new hits such as Super Street Fighter IV 3DS and Bionic Commando Rearmed . Plus, be one of the first to get to lay your hands on Resident Evil: Mercenaries for the 3DS! There’ll be the usual prizes and freebies for demoing the games, so be sure to stop by and see what’s being offered.

The Capcom Store is also back and bulging with tons of your favorite Capcom games, exclusive collectibles and rare, hard-to-find Japanese imports. Be sure to stop by each day for unannounced specials – there’ll be something for everybody.

Hit the jump for more!

As I mentioned before, stop by the Capcom Unity station and watch live web broadcasts on Capcom Unity, meet Snow and myself (Jgonzo) in person, and maybe even get some face time on our U-Stream broadcast yourself!

Looking for an original, customized souvenir from the show? Master artists Long Vo (Udon’s Street Fighter comics) and Jin Ha (Spawn, syndicated animation) will be on hand throughout the weekend to create custom illustrations of all your favorite Capcom characters!

Ever wanted to work in the video game industry yourself? Be sure to check out our special panel, “How to Get a Job in the Video Game Business” featuring a variety of panelists from Capcom, EA, and Offbase Productions, who will share anecdotes on the many different avenues to get into the video game industry as well as funny anecdotes and descriptions of the vast array of jobs available – you don’t have to be a programmer or a digital artist. The panel is on Friday, April 1, staring at 5:30pm in Room 104. The highlight for us every show is the chance to meet the world’s greatest fans. Please be sure to stop by, chat, and tell us what you like (or maybe don’t like) about Capcom and how we can make the games that you want to play. We look forward to seeing you soon!
