Last week, the night before the big Lost Planet 2 launch party, Mega Ran was playing live in the Viper Room in Los Angeles. Of course we couldn’t pass up the chance to see him live, so we made our way over there, along with several members of Capcom Unity!

Sporting a Mega Man 10 t-shirt and a festive sombrero for Cinco de Mayo, Mega Ran and DN3 brought the house down.

As a huge Mega Ran fan, I was extremely excited when i found out that he was coming to LA to perform at the Viper Room, which fortunately is only about ten minutes from where I live.  Joining me at the show were jgonzo and Snow, along with other awesome Unity members.

Mega Ran started off his set with the brand new track I’m Sick based on Mega Man 10.  As much as I’ve listened to and love Mega Ran’s albums, the beats and rhymes were even better live.  He’s full of energy and plays off the crowd so well.  He’d throw out Mega Man t-shirts, ask trivia, freestyle for us, and more.

After I’m Sick, Mega Ran went on to perform other favorites such as: Splash Woman , Dream Master , and finished the set off with Grow Up .
