Capcom Seeking New Community Manager in UK

Are you an active Unity member with lots of good ideas? Do you live in the UK? If so, you might be a good candidate for this new job opportunity. Seems they’re hiring a new Social and Community Manager for the UK, and they want someone familiar with our various titles. Candidates would also have to be personable, flexible, creative, and have good managerial skills. Naturally, previous community managing experience, marketing experience, and/or games industry experience are all big plusses, but if you think you’ve got what it takes to be the Brelston of the UK, then you ought to apply either way.

Department: Marketing – Tactical

Reporting to: Head of Marketing (UK & Europe) additional reporting to ASC & KR

Main Purpose of Job:
To work alongside the local Marketing manager / Brand team/ Digital strategist on implementation and creation of community plans for capcom titles.

Main Responsibilities:
-To work alongside the local marketing team  developing and managing market strategies for on-line marketing, user experiences, foster communities, drive new business generation and the overall CRM function within Capcom for all titles.

-Day to day management of the Capcom Europe website at a local level

-Day to day management of the European product websites, social media and  mini-sites at a local level.

-Ensuring robust plans and processes are implemented within the on-line team to provide increased revenue and customer satisfaction/integration within agreed budget.

-Producing and evaluating key measurements to provide recommendations to improve efficiency and performance within the on-line marketing mix and overall CRM strategy

-Drive constant technical and creative innovation to support our communities on web and in-game and share developments across Pan-Western entities.

-Liaising with external agencies to ensure marketing strategy is carried out effectively and the company is getting return on investment

-Work with local communities for creation of events and amplification of existing events

-Liaising with Central marketing, Sales and PR departments for promotion of specific titles

–Regular communication and pro active cooperation to ensure maximum effectiveness of overall campaigns

-Post launch analysis of marketing campaigns

–Offering full analysis to Japanese development teams and Central Marketing for future product growth
