As Summer approaches, our Capcom Pet of the Month sends their warmest regards!

Meet Tahoe, a 13-year-old Tortoiseshell cat that has seen the unnecessary roughness in the world and has opted for a life of peaceful tranquility. Because of her harmonious morals, Tahoe chooses to subdue her natural instincts as a carnivore and instead prioritizes unity with all beings… which means she shouldn’t be your first choice if you’re looking for a cat to help with pest control.

Always sweet and caring, this senior kitty loves companionship, be it from her humans or even the occasional smaller creatures she comes across. She once gained a companion in the form of a mouse, finding appreciation with her tiny friend to the point that she shared her own food to show her gratitude. Of course, sometimes, a friendship must come to an end, and her rodent companion was eventually taken away from her.

Visibly distraught after the loss of her friend, it took several weeks for her to return to normal. Now she searches for new connections, hoping to find yet another bond to replace the one she had previously formed. Maybe one day she’ll find one, but for now, Tahoe will always have the loving humans that take care of her.
