Last week’s Solar Man entries were arguably some of the best we’ve seen in this competition (major props to P-RO’s stunning winning piece ) so it was difficult for us to choose our honorable mentions, but in the end, we managed.

Seth (aka s-kill ): M. S. Corley’s entry was pure style. Loved the bits coming off the solar central. Nice flat affect—looks almost like it could have been a campaign poster or a cool paperback cover from the 1950s.

Shawn (aka Snow ): I’m a sucker for cuteness, and this Solar Man is all of that and more. Makes me wish I had a tiny figure of this guy for my desk! Amazing piece of art, R. Case.

Joveth (aka jgonzo ): MightyAfro’s entry is just full of win. You can almost hear Tarantino wanting to get a piece of this Solamyte action for his next film.
