Announcing the Capcom Connect Stream!
Sep 24, 2018 // Andy Wong
Capcom Connect will be your one-stop stream for all things Street Fighter, matches between pro players or local talent, CPT updates, latest news, code giveaways, and more!
We’re proud to announce Capcom Connect in partnership with Esports Arena Oakland, which will take place on Tuesdays at 8pm PT on the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel! We will be broadcasting straight from the spectacular Esports Arena Oakland facility in Oakland, California. Capcom Connect is our way of reaching out to you, the community, in all forms. From pro players, casuals, cosplayers, artists, stream watchers, and everything in between, we’re aiming to create a show that highlights all facets of the Street Fighter community.
CAPCOM CONNECT
Tuesdays at 8pm PT
Each show will cover events and news that occurred the week before or will occur the week after, including any Capcom Pro Tour tournaments, player interviews, new feature and content announcements, fan art and cosplay submissions, and matches between pro players or local talent that you’ll want to watch! Between grudge matches and matches with special rules, such as only being able to use specific characters, you’ll find plenty of Street Fighter action from our guests.
Capcom Connect will be hosted by staff from Capcom and Esports Arena Oakland with different special guests every show. Though this is a stream-only production, we still want you to be involved!
CODE GIVEAWAYS
You will have the chance to win various codes for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition just by watching and interacting with our social channels. In the afternoon before each show, we’ll tweet out a specific hashtag on the Street Fighter or Capcom Fighters Twitter account. All you need to do is use that hashtag in a tweet of your own before the drawing begins at around 8:15pm PT. During the show, we’ll randomly choose winners and announce them on-stream. After the show, expect a Direct Message from the Street Fighter or Capcom Fighters accounts with your code. The codes are currently only for North America.
