Narrowing down my top five Mega Man games would be quite a task. Sure, MM2 is the obvious choice – and for good reason – but would it  really  take the top spot? As a child of the ’80s, it certainly has a hold on me that… oh wait, my mere musing of choosing a favorite MM has already derailed the point of this post!

Chris Carter over at D-Toid has apparently gone through the mental gauntlet described above and laid out his top five. What are yours?

The top spot may surprise you; I certainly wasn’t expecting that game on the list, let alone at number one! But he makes a good case, so give it a look.

What’re your thoughts on their lists, and what might yours be? While I’m still fairly confident MM2 is my favorite, I gotta give it up to MM7, which as more time passes climbs higher and higher up my aforementioned mental list.
